The Dubai Fountain is the world's largest choreographed fountain system 275 meters of water jets, lights, and music performing on Burj Khalifa Lake in Downtown Dubai, with the Burj Khalifa rising directly behind it. You can watch it for free from the promenade. The boat ride puts you on the water itself. Lake Ride Abra Boat on Burj Lake
A 30-minute traditional abra boat ride across Burj Khalifa Lake timed to coincide with the fountain show. The boat sails to the centre of the lake and stays during the performance giving you unobstructed 360-degree views of the fountain, the Burj Khalifa, Dubai Mall, and Souq Al Bahar.

Boardwalk Walk Dubai Fountain Bridge
A 272-meter floating platform extending out over Burj Lake the closest on-foot viewing position for the fountain. Tickets are sold separately from the boat ride. Good for those who prefer to walk rather than sail.

The Dubai Fountain is the world's largest performing fountain 275 meters long, 30 acres of Burj Khalifa Lake, water jets reaching 150 meters into the air, and over 6,600 lights illuminating each performance. Designed by WET Design, the same company behind the Bellagio fountains in Las Vegas, the Dubai Fountain uses 50 colour projectors and 25 colour projectors to create its light sequences.
Reopened October 2025 after a comprehensive five-month renovation and upgrade. The refurbishment added enhanced visual capabilities and new musical performances to the fountain's repertoire. The abra boat rides relaunched alongside the fountain's return.

By metro: Burj Khalifa / Dubai Mall Metro Station (Red Line). Walk through the air-conditioned bridge to Dubai Mall, then follow signs to the Fountain promenade on the lake level. By car: Dubai Mall parking multiple entry points off Sheikh Zayed Road. The promenade is at ground level adjacent to the mall. By taxi: Tell your driver "Dubai Fountain, Burj Khalifa Lake, Dubai Mall."
How to board: Exchange your ticket at the Dubai Fountain Lake Ride ticket kiosk on The Promenade. Follow signs to the Dubai Fountain area. Board at the designated jetty.
