Wild Wadi has been running since 1999 one of Dubai's original water parks and still one of its best. Positioned directly in front of the Burj Al Arab, the views alone are worth the ticket. The 30+ rides cover every thrill level from the 80 km/h free-fall of Jumeirah Sceirah to the 360-meter lazy river, wave pools, FlowRiders, and a dedicated children's zone. All rides are built around the Arabian folklore of Juha, giving the park a story-driven atmosphere that sets it apart from a generic water park layout.

Jumeirah Sceirah Free-Fall Slide
The headline ride and the most talked-about water slide in Dubai. Standing 32 meters tall, Jumeirah Sceirah drops riders at a 70-degree angle reaching speeds of up to 80 km/h making it the tallest and fastest free-fall water slide outside the Americas. Riders go in pairs side by side in enclosed tubes before launching through an almost vertical drop. Not for the faint-hearted.
Minimum height: 1.2 meters.
Tantrum Alley Tornado Slides
Four-person inflatable tube rides that send you spinning through twisting downhill channels and three tornado-shaped funnels at speed. One of the most fun group rides in the park better with four people than solo.
Wipeout & Riptide FlowRiders
Surf simulators generating seven tonnes of water per second across a moulded foam structure. Wipeout is designed for body-boarding and knee-boarding. Riptide is a mirror version for a simultaneous dual experience. One of only a handful of FlowRider installations in the world. Fast Pass available for these two rides on busy days.
Burj Surj Speed Slide
A high-speed flume slide building momentum through sharp twists and drops before launching into a pool. Consistently one of the most ridden slides in the park.
Breaker's Bay Wave Pool
The Middle East's largest wave pool — over 4,700 square meters of artificial waves. Good for families and anyone who wants to enjoy the water between the intense rides. Waves cycle on a set schedule throughout the day.
Juha's Journey Lazy River
A 360-meter lazy river winding through the entire park. The slowest, most relaxing ride at Wild Wadi and one of the best ways to see the layout and take in the Burj Al Arab views while drifting through. Good for all ages.
Dhow and Lagoon Children's Zone
Over 100 water activities specifically designed for younger guests splash zones, shallow slides, gentle rides, and activity structures. Supervised and age-appropriate. The best area of the park for families with children under 8.

Best Time to Visit Wild Wadi Water Park
Weekdays (Sunday to Thursday) significantly shorter queues on all major rides. Jumeirah Sceirah and the FlowRiders in particular have long waits on weekends avoid them on Fridays and Saturdays if you can.
October to April the most comfortable time to visit. Cooler temperatures and perfect outdoor water park weather.
June to August Wild Wadi is one of the better summer options in Dubai because it is open air and water-cooled, but visit early in the morning before midday heat peaks. The park is genuinely refreshing in summer despite the high temperatures outside.
