What to Expect on the Alexandra Dhow Cruise
Boarding
The Alexandra departs from Dubai Marina West Bay. Board before 9:00 PM. The boat is a large two-level traditional dhow refurbished and set up as a proper floating restaurant with full window views on the lower deck and an open-air upper deck.
The Route
You sail through the full Dubai Marina canal past the Marina Promenade, Dubai Marina Yacht Club, Marina Mall, and the distinctive spiral of the Cayan Tower. The cruise continues out toward Bluewaters Island where Ain Dubai, the world's largest observation wheel, lights up the night sky. Best photo spot of the evening.
Dinner
A proper buffet not a basic spread. Five salads, seven main courses, a seafood soup, and four dessert options. A live grill station is set up on board. Vegetarian options available mention it at booking.
Entertainment
Live Tanoura dance performance mid-cruise. Traditional, high-energy, and one of the highlights of the evening.
Return
Back at the berth by 10:45 PM. Hotel drop-off follows for guests who booked with transfers.
