Parasailing in Dubai puts you 150 to 250 meters above the Arabian Gulf on a harness attached to a parachute, towed by a speedboat below. From up there you get a bird's-eye view of the Burj Al Arab, Palm Jumeirah, Dubai Marina, and the full Jumeirah coastline that you simply cannot get from the ground. Smooth takeoff from the boat, no running required, and a dry landing option if you want to keep your feet from touching the water. No experience needed beginners make up most of the bookings.

Step 1 Board the speedboat You meet at the launch point on Jumeirah Beach and board a purpose-built parasailing speedboat. The crew fits your harness and walks you through everything before you leave the shore.
Step 2 Takeoff You're seated in the harness attached to the parasail. As the boat picks up speed the tow rope stretches out, the parachute inflates, and you lift off smoothly from the back of the boat no running, no jumping.
Step 3 The flight You rise to 150 to 250 meters above the water. The ride is calm and quiet up there far less scary than it looks from the ground. 7 to 15 minutes of open views over the Gulf and the Dubai coastline.
Step 4 Landing Choose a dry landing back on the boat or dip your feet in the water on the way down. Both options available.
